Remington 700 SA .223 Blued Carbon Steel Bolt-Action Rifle
The Remington 700 SA .223 blued carbon steel bolt-action rifle is built on one of the most trusted receiver platforms in American shooting. This short-action rifle is purpose-built for .223 Remington, making it an excellent foundation for precision shooters, competitive marksmen, and hunters who want a rifle chambered in a flat-shooting, low-recoil cartridge. Whether you're building a semi-custom varmint rifle, setting up a range gun, or assembling a dependable hunting platform, the 700 SA gives you the durability and accuracy heritage that Remington's legendary action is known for.
This barreled action comes equipped with Remington's adjustable X Mark Pro trigger, giving you crisp, tunable break characteristics right out of the box. The blued carbon steel construction provides proven corrosion resistance and a classic aesthetic that works in any hunting camp or on any range. The short-action design keeps things compact and handy while maintaining the rigidity needed for consistent shot placement, whether you're shooting factory loads or handloads.
Keep in mind that this is a receiver and barreled action — you'll need to source a trigger guard, recoil lug, and receiver plug screws separately to complete your build. That modular approach gives you full control over the final rifle's ergonomics and aesthetics. The 1-1/16″ × 16 TPI threads accept standard Remington 700 short-action components and accessories, opening up decades of aftermarket support.
