The Remington 700 ADL in .223 Remington is a no-frills bolt-action rifle built for shooters who want a proven platform without paying for features they don't need. The 700 ADL line strips the 700 down to essentials: a solid receiver, reliable bolt action, and a clean synthetic stock—making it an honest choice for target shooting, varmint hunting, or a first centerfire rifle. The .223 Remington cartridge delivers flat trajectory and mild recoil, ideal for precision work at the range or field use where accuracy counts.

This rifle ships as a blank slate: the receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounting, but comes without iron sights, letting you build a setup tailored to your needs and budget. The 24-inch barrel balances velocity and handling, while the lightweight synthetic furniture resists weather and abuse. At 7.25 pounds, it won't wear you out during a long day afield or on the bench. The 5+1 capacity gives you a clean, simple magazine-fed system that's easy to reload and control.

Whether you're setting up a budget long-range trainer, assembling a varmint rig, or passing down a rifle that'll actually get used, the 700 ADL's reputation for accuracy and durability speaks for itself. The modular Remington 700 platform means aftermarket support is abundant—stocks, triggers, barrels, and chassis options abound if you want to customize later.

No. The 700 ADL ships without iron sights or an optic, allowing you to customize your sight setup based on your intended use and budget.
