The Charter Arms Professional III .357 Magnum revolver is a compact, reliable wheelgun built for shooters who want practical power in a manageable package. This stainless steel six-shooter delivers the stopping authority of .357 Magnum in a frame that won't wear you down over a long day—whether you're carrying for self-defense, keeping one in the truck, or putting rounds downrange at the range. The 4.2-inch barrel strikes a balance between velocity and control, making it suitable for both defensive and sport shooting applications.

Charter Arms engineered the Professional III around real-world usability. The blacknitride+™ finish protects against corrosion without adding bulk, while the 25-ounce weight keeps the gun handy without sacrificing shootability. The wood grips provide a classic, secure hold, and the standard hammer gives you both single-action precision and reliable double-action function. Six rounds of .357 Magnum is enough firepower for most situations—and if you want to dial it back, the cylinder will also handle .38 Special loads for lighter practice sessions.

This is a no-nonsense revolver for hunters, home defenders, and sport shooters who value simplicity and dependability. There's no safety to disengage, no magazine to load, and no reliability guesswork—just point, shoot, and trust it to work.
