The Charter Arms Pitbull 9mm revolver is a compact, American-made wheelgun built around a modern engineering solution: a dual-coil spring extractor system designed specifically for rimless pistol cartridges. If you shoot 9mm and want the reliability of a revolver without the complexity of adapters or moon clips, this gun does something genuinely useful. The 2.2-inch barrel and 22-ounce weight make it handy for concealed carry, backup duty, or range use, while the black nitride finish resists corrosion and wear.

What sets the Pitbull apart is its ability to chamber, fire, and eject 9mm ammunition cleanly—a practical advantage for shooters who want access to affordable, widely available ammo without compromises. The dual-action/single-action trigger lets you choose your shooting style, and the neoprene grips provide a secure hold even in demanding conditions. Whether you're breaking in a new shooter or adding a reliable sidearm to your carry rotation, the simplified recoil impulse of 9mm in a revolver platform makes this gun accessible and controllable for most shooters.

Charter Arms manufactures the Pitbull in the USA, and the stainless steel construction with glass bead finish underneath the nitride coating delivers serious durability at a straightforward, practical price point. This isn't a flashy gun—it's built to work, reload, and work again.

Can I use standard 9mm ammunition in the Pitbull revolver?

Is this revolver suitable for concealed carry?

The 2.2-inch barrel and 22-ounce weight make the Pitbull compact enough for concealed carry or backup use. Pocket holsters and IWB carry rigs are readily available for this barrel length and frame size.

Who manufactures the Charter Arms Pitbull?

Charter Arms manufactures the Pitbull in the United States. It's built on a stainless steel frame with a black nitride finish for durability and corrosion resistance.

Is 9mm a good choice for a revolver?
