The Charter Arms Pitbull 9mm revolver is a practical single-action/double-action wheelgun that solves one of the real headaches of shooting 9mm in a revolver: reliable extraction. This matte stainless steel Pitbull uses a purpose-built rimless cartridge extractor system that lets you load standard 9mm ammunition directly into the cylinder without moon clips or adapters. That means faster reloads at the range, simpler carry and storage, and access to the cheapest, most abundant ammo on the market.
Built and designed in the USA, the Pitbull is compact enough for everyday carry or home defense but manageable for shooters of any experience level. At 22 ounces and sporting a 2.2-inch barrel, it's substantial enough to shoot cleanly but light enough not to wear on your hip or in a pack. The neoprene grip provides control without slipping, and 9mm's softer recoil impulse makes this revolver genuinely pleasant to shoot—whether you're putting rounds downrange for practice or working on your fundamentals at the range.
A six-shot cylinder gives you decent capacity in a proven, reliable package. There's no complicated mechanism to master, no special ammunition to hunt down, and no maintenance headaches. This is a workhorse revolver built on American tooling and backed by Charter Arms' reputation for no-nonsense, practical defensive guns.
