The Charter Arms Pitbull .45 ACP revolver is a compact, hard-hitting wheelgun built for shooters who want serious stopping power in a package that actually fits in a holster or safe. Chambered in .45 ACP—a proven round for self-defense and sport shooting—this five-shot revolver gives you the reliability of a revolver with the versatility of one of America's most common handgun cartridges. The 2.5-inch barrel keeps it maneuverable for defensive carry or sport use, while the matte stainless steel construction resists corrosion without the glare of a mirror polish.

Charter Arms engineered the Pitbull specifically to handle .45 ACP reliably—no moon clips required, thanks to the revolver's rim-locking design. That means less fuss at the range and one less thing to lose or track. The dual-action/single-action trigger gives you flexibility: pull through in DA mode for a longer trigger press, or cock the hammer and break a shorter SA shot if you need precision. Adjustable sights let you dial in your load and shooting style, whether you're working up handloads or running factory ammo.

The rubber grip absorbs recoil and won't slip in your hand when things get rough. At under 30 ounces, this is a gun that rewards practice and doesn't punish your belt or hand. It's built from steel, proven in thousands of hands, and finished in a flat matte that's less likely to betray your position than polished metal. If you're hunting for a .45 ACP revolver that bridges the gap between classic wheelgun simplicity and modern self-defense needs, the Charter Arms Pitbull deserves a serious look.
