The Charter Arms Pitbull .380 ACP stainless steel revolver is a compact, reliable sidearm built for shooters who want a lightweight defensive carry gun without the complexity of a semi-auto. This Model 73802 brings Charter Arms' no-nonsense engineering to a snappy caliber that's easy to shoot accurately and simple to maintain. At just 22 ounces, it's comfortable for daily carry or nightstand duty, and the six-round cylinder gives you enough capacity for most self-defense scenarios.

Built around a steel frame with a matte stainless steel finish, the Pitbull .380 resists corrosion and handles hard use. The 2.2-inch barrel is short enough for speed and concealment but long enough to get solid velocity from .380 ACP loads. The spurred hammer lets you choose between double-action pulls for carry and single-action for precision, giving you flexibility at the range or in a defensive moment. The fixed sight setup keeps things simple and snag-free—no adjustable parts to loosen over time.

The neoprene grip absorbs recoil and handles cleanly even in rough conditions. This is a revolver that doesn't need your attention—load it, secure it, and trust it to work when you need it. If you shoot revolvers, understand .380 ballistics, and want a proven pocket or ankle gun, the Pitbull .380 deserves serious consideration.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Charter Arms Pitbull .380 good for concealed carry?

Yes. At 22 ounces with a 2.2-inch barrel, it's designed for compact carry. The fixed sights won't snag clothing, and the steel frame provides good balance for a short gun.

Can I shoot this revolver in double-action and single-action?

Yes. The spurred hammer allows you to cock it manually for single-action shots or simply pull the trigger for full double-action operation.

What's the difference between .380 ACP and other defensive calibers?

The .380 ACP is a lower-powered round compared to 9mm or .38 Special, but it's easier to shoot accurately in small guns and produces less recoil. Many shooters prefer it in compact defensive revolvers.

What grip is included on this revolver?

The Pitbull .380 comes with a neoprene grip designed to absorb recoil and provide a secure purchase in various conditions.
