The Weatherby Mark V Live Wild 6.5 WBY RPM is a purpose-built backcountry rifle designed in partnership with renowned hunter Remi Warren. This bolt-action rifle combines the legendary strength of Weatherby's Mark V action with modern lightweight materials and precision features, making it an excellent choice for hunters who demand both accuracy and reliability across diverse terrain and conditions. At 5.6 lbs, it won't slow you down on long treks into remote country.
The Mark V action itself is engineered for extreme durability, featuring a multi-lug bolt system with six locking lugs, a fully-enclosed bolt shroud, and three gas relief ports for safety. The 54-degree bolt throw is the shortest in the industry, delivering smooth and fast cycling when you need it. The Live Wild's barrel is spiral-fluted and threaded 1/2"-28 for suppressor use, finished in Carbon Grey Cerakote alongside the receiver and trigger guard. A matched Accubrake ST handles recoil reduction, while the deeply-fluted bolt and skeletonized bolt knob shave weight without compromising strength.
Your trigger control comes from a TriggerTech unit that's externally adjustable across a 2.5–5 lb range, letting you dial it to your preference. The polymer stock echoes the ergonomics of Weatherby's Mark V Backcountry line, with a trim, flat-bottomed forend, ambidextrous palm swells, and aluminum pillar reinforcement. Hand-painted sponge-pattern accents in black and grey pay homage to Remi Warren's Live Wild brand. A custom hinged floorplate branded with the Live Wild logo adds a final touch of purpose-built character.
Chambered in 6.5 WBY RPM—one of Weatherby's proven magnum cartridges—this rifle is ready to perform at distance. It's a serious long-range hunting tool built for shooters who won't accept compromises in the field.
