The Weatherby Mark V Accumark in .338-378 Wby Mag is a purpose-built long-range hunting rifle designed for shooters who demand both precision and stopping power. Chambered in one of Weatherby's most potent magnum cartridges, this right-hand rifle combines a fluted 26-inch barrel, hand-laid fiberglass stock, and aluminum bedding blocks to deliver the accuracy and durability serious hunters expect from a premium magnum rifle. The Accumark is engineered to handle the extreme velocities and recoil of the .338-378 Magnum while maintaining the mechanical advantages of Weatherby's proven Mark V action.
Built around Weatherby's modular Mark V platform, the Accumark comes fitted with a raised Monte Carlo fiberglass stock featuring spider-web accents and a matte gel coat finish that resists glare and weathering. The fluted barrel runs a 1-in-10 twist rate optimized for the heavy projectiles this magnum demands, while the two-toned finish—stainless barrel with Graphite Black Cerakote receiver, bolt, and safety—keeps the rifle visible in low light and highly corrosion-resistant. The stock geometry, with its specific length of pull and drop measurements, is designed to control recoil while maintaining consistent sight picture. Magazine capacity runs 2+1, so you're carrying a reliable reserve round plus one in the chamber.
The .338-378 Wby Mag is not a whitetail cartridge—it's built for elk, moose, and other large game where a premium magnum performs its purpose. The Accumark's combination of precision bedding, quality metallurgy, and refined ergonomics means you're investing in a rifle that will deliver consistent accuracy at extended range and the terminal performance that magnum hunters expect. Whether you're glassing from a ridge line or taking a long shot across a canyon, the Accumark is engineered to close the distance.
