The Weatherby 307 Alpine MDT bolt-action rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor merges Weatherby's proven rifle engineering with Modern Dynamic Tactical's lightweight chassis platform—built for hunters and long-range shooters who demand a rifle that handles as well at 10,000 feet as it does on the bench. The Model 307 action is Weatherby's newest two-lug design, fully cylindrical and built around today's thriving ecosystem of aftermarket components. That means your 307 Alpine isn't locked into factory options; it's a platform you can adapt, upgrade, and dial in to your exact setup.
The standout here is weight and packability without compromise. MDT's carbon fiber chassis, paired with Weatherby's spiral-fluted barrel and bolt, sheds mass wherever it counts. The folding buttstock compresses the rifle by over 9 inches when collapsed—a game-changer if you're glassing ridges or fitting your rifle into a tight truck bed. Adjustable length of pull and cheek rest let you dial comfort and sight picture in minutes. The gun ships with an AccuBrake muzzle device and comes threaded and capped, ready to run as-is or swap suppressors and brakes on the fly.
Inside, a TriggerTech trigger, M16 extractor, and tool-less bolt takedown handle the mechanics cleanly. Side bolt release is intuitive in the field. The rifle feeds from AICS-pattern magazines and wears an ARCA rail for modern mounting flexibility. A Cerakote finish on the barrel handles the elements, and the 6.5 Creedmoor cartridge bridges hunting and precision shooting—enough speed and energy for elk and mule deer, ballistics stable enough to trust at distance.
Whether you're running a daypacker setup into the high country or building a serious range rig, the 307 Alpine gives you the bones and the flexibility to make it yours.
