The Taylors & Company Stallion 22Mag pocket revolver brings authentic single-action handling to a compact, manageable platform that doesn't sacrifice the classic lines shooters love. Built at roughly 75% the size of a full-size 1873 Cattleman, the Stallion delivers that distinctive six-shooter feel in a frame light enough for extended carry or comfortable shooting sessions for younger or smaller-framed shooters. The 5.5" barrel strikes a practical balance between pointability and sight radius, and the .22 Magnum chambering—uncommon in traditional single-action designs—offers modest recoil and low report while maintaining adequate velocity for small game or recreational plinking.

Aesthetically, the Stallion respects its heritage: a deep blue finish on the steel barrel and cylinder pairs with a case-hardened frame, while polished brass backstrap and trigger guard add that period-correct detail. The walnut grip feels right in the hand, and the fixed blade front sight and frame-notch rear deliver straightforward point-of-aim aiming without unnecessary complexity. At just under two pounds, it's light enough to forget you're carrying it, yet substantial enough to feel like a real firearm, not a toy.

This is an honest choice for anyone seeking a genuine single-action revolver in a smaller package—whether you're introducing a newcomer to shooting, want a reliable truck gun, or simply appreciate quality cowboy hardware without the heft of a full-size frame. The .22 Magnum round keeps ammunition costs reasonable while delivering enough punch for varmint work or plinking at distance.
