The Taylors & Co Ranch Hand Taylor Tuned .45 LC revolver brings classic single-action performance to shooters who appreciate hands-on craftsmanship and authentic Western styling. Built on a traditional platform and enhanced with Taylor tuning, this .45 LC revolver delivers the smooth trigger control and mechanical refinement serious shooters demand—whether you're running it on the range, competing in cowboy action events, or simply enjoying a piece of American gun-making heritage. The case-hardened finish delivers both visual character and functional durability, aging beautifully as it gets used.

Walnut grips provide a warm, classic feel in hand, while the single-action operation keeps things simple and reliable. At 4.75 inches, the barrel strikes a practical balance between velocity and handling—short enough for quick work, long enough to wring genuine performance from the .45 LC cartridge. The six-round capacity pairs traditional loading and shooting with the stopping power that made this caliber legendary in the Old West and beyond.

If you're building a .45 LC revolver setup, running cowboy action sports, or just want a working single-action that feels right in the hand, the Ranch Hand deserves a look. Taylors & Co specializes in bringing period-correct Colt designs to modern shooters, and the Taylor tuning here means you're not just getting a replica—you're getting a gun that's been worked to function smoothly and shoot true.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this revolver suitable for cowboy action shooting?

Yes. The single-action design, .45 LC caliber, and six-round capacity make the Ranch Hand a natural fit for cowboy action sport. Taylor tuning ensures smooth operation under competition conditions.

What does "Taylor tuned" mean?

Taylor tuning refers to mechanical refinement and function work performed by Taylors & Co to ensure smooth trigger control and reliable operation beyond standard factory specs.

What is the case-hardened finish?

Case hardening is a traditional heat-treatment process that creates a hardened surface layer while leaving the underlying steel tougher. It produces the distinctive mottled color pattern you see on this revolver and provides genuine durability, not just visual appeal.

Will this work with standard .45 LC ammunition?

Yes. The revolver is chambered in .45 LC and will cycle standard .45 Long Colt ammunition.
