The Taurus Raging Hunter 8.37" .357 Mag/.38 Spl +P revolver is a serious hunting handgun built for backcountry shooters who need stopping power in a manageable package. With its seven-shot capacity, large frame, and adjustable rear sight paired with a fixed front sight, this black oxide-finished revolver delivers the precision and reliability you need for short- to medium-range hunting. Whether you're after hogs, coyotes, or varmints, the Raging Hunter bridges the gap between carry revolver and field gun with purpose-driven engineering.

What sets the Raging Hunter apart is its revolutionary angular barrel design, which strips weight without sacrificing rigidity—critical when you're glassing hillsides and moving through terrain. Factory-tuned porting and a gas expansion chamber work together to reduce muzzle lift, letting you stay on target for faster follow-ups without fighting recoil. Double-action/single-action operation means you can work it like a traditional revolver or stage the trigger for precision shots, and the transfer bar safety keeps you safe in the field.

The cushioned insert grips are engineered for control and comfort, absorbing recoil while giving you a confident grip during the shot. Chambered in both .357 Magnum and .38 Special +P, you can load to the power level your hunt demands—hot magnums for extended ranges or milder .38s for reduced recoil during practice. At 59.2 ounces, the Raging Hunter is substantial enough to shoot cleanly but light enough that it won't weigh you down on a long day in the field.

This is a revolver for hunters who appreciate mechanical reliability and uncomplicated power delivery. No plastic frames, no unnecessary features—just a seven-shot workhorse designed to perform when it counts.
