The Taurus Raging Hunter 5.12" .357 Mag/.38 Spl +P revolver is a seven-shot big-bore handgun built for hunters and shooters who need proven stopping power in a manageable package. Chambered for .357 Magnum and compatible with .38 Special +P, this large-frame revolver delivers the velocity and energy you want for short- to medium-range hunting without the complexity of a semi-auto platform. The black oxide finish provides a classic, durable look that won't catch light in the field.
What sets this Raging Hunter apart is its purposeful engineering for the job. The angular barrel design reduces overall weight while maintaining sight radius—a smart move when you're carrying all day in the brush. Factory-tuned porting and a gas expansion chamber work together to manage muzzle lift, letting you track your follow-up shots faster when it counts. The cushioned insert grips soak up recoil and give you a secure, comfortable hold even during extended shooting sessions.
Double-action/single-action operation and a transfer bar safety give you flexibility in how you carry and shoot. Fixed front and adjustable rear sights come ready to use, and the adjustable rear lets you dial in your load and distance. Whether you're hunting medium game or running drills at the range, this revolver rewards good fundamentals with reliability.
