The Remington 870 Field 12 gauge shotgun with 26" barrel is a pump-action workhorse built for hunters who want proven reliability without the premium price tag. This 870 Field model carries the same steel-milled receiver and smooth action that made the 870 line America's favorite slide-action shotgun for over 70 years, but strips away unnecessary frills to focus on what matters: dependable performance in the field. Whether you're hunting waterfowl, upland game, or running clay targets, the 870 Field delivers the versatility and pointing characteristics that have earned the platform its reputation.

The 26" vent-rib barrel keeps the gun nimble in tight cover while the single white bead sight gets you on target fast. The receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounting if you want to upgrade your setup later. Twin action bars run smooth and prevent binding, so your follow-up shots come clean and quick. The matte black finish on barrel and receiver resists rust and won't catch sunlight, and the open-grain walnut furniture gives the gun a classic, no-nonsense appearance. Sling studs on both the magazine cap and stock let you carry it comfortably all day.

Out of the box, you get three flush Rem Chokes—Improved Cylinder, Modified, and Full—so you can dial in the right shot pattern for whatever you're hunting. The 870 Field handles both 2¾" and 3" shells, giving you flexibility in load selection and shot size. A cable lock, magazine plug, and choke tube wrench round out the package. This is a gun that works hard and doesn't ask for much in return.
