The Remington 870 Field Synthetic SuperMag 12 gauge is the practical choice for hunters who want a proven pump-action shotgun without unnecessary frills or inflated pricing. This 26-inch model builds on over 60 years of 870 reliability—the design that set the standard for slide-action shotguns—but strips away cosmetics to focus on what matters in the field: dependable performance and versatility. Whether you're hunting upland game, waterfowl, or running clay courses, the 870's reputation for getting the job done is well earned.
Built on a receiver milled from solid steel, the 870 delivers the strength and precision you need for repeated shooting under real-world conditions. The dual action bars cycle smooth and fast, eliminating binding and twisting so you can mount a follow-up shot when it counts. The synthetic stock and fore-end are built to handle weather and hard use without complaint—no laminate wood to worry about warping or cracking. You also get an adjustable face comb insert so you can dial in your gun for your shooting style and ammunition choice.
This SuperMag variant cycles both 2¾-inch and 3½-inch shells, giving you flexibility to load the right ammunition for your hunt. The Fieldmaster finish on the barrel and receiver resists rust and corrosion, and the drilled-and-tapped receiver accepts a scope mount if you want to add glass. In the box: three flush Rem Chokes (Improved Cylinder, Modified, Full), a magazine plug, cable lock, and choke tube wrench—everything you need to get started.
The 870 Field Synthetic isn't dressed up for a gun cabinet. It's dressed for work: honest, dependable, and ready to earn its place in your hunting rotation.
