The Remington 783 .243 Winchester bolt-action rifle delivers accurate, reliable performance built on decades of proven engineering. This 22-inch barreled rifle is engineered for hunters who demand tight groups and dependable function without paying premium dollars—a modern platform that strips away complexity while keeping the features that matter. The .243 Winchester caliber suits varmint hunting, predator control, and light game, making this 783 a versatile tool for North American hunting conditions.

Accuracy starts with the barrel. Remington's precision button-rifled barrel pairs with a black synthetic stock built around a dual-pillar bedded platform that free-floats the barrel, promoting shot-to-shot consistency. The stock's high nylon fiber content gives you rigidity where it counts—no flex, no excuses. A crisp CrossFire trigger system is user-adjustable, letting you dial in break weight to your preference. The detachable steel magazine holds four rounds in .243, keeping you in the field longer between reloads.

This is purpose-built hunting iron: matte blue barrel finish, matte black synthetic stock, and a steel detachable magazine with a steel latch. The 783 platform continues Remington's legacy of bolt-action reliability—simple, strong, and battle-tested across generations. If you're looking for a no-nonsense hunting rifle that groups well and runs without fuss, the 783 .243 Winchester belongs in your safe.
