The Remington 700 CDL is a bolt-action rifle built on a platform that's been trusted by hunters and precision shooters for generations. Chambered in .30-06 Springfield with a 24-inch barrel, this rifle combines classic American walnut furniture with a reliable, time-tested action that handles everything from whitetail to elk at typical hunting ranges. The CDL designation signals a focus on hunting practicality—balanced weight, clean lines, and the kind of ergonomic refinement that matters after hours in the field.

The satin blue barrel finish over carbon steel offers a traditional, durable look that doesn't demand the fussy maintenance of high-polish bluing, and the American walnut stock gives you real wood character without the premium price tag of fancier furniture. At 44.5 inches overall length and with a standard 13.5-inch length of pull, the CDL fits most shooters comfortably whether you're shooting from a bench or shouldering it in heavy brush. The right-hand twist (9.25 inches) is optimized for the .30-06 cartridge, and the 4-round magazine capacity keeps things straightforward and reliable.

This is a rifle that rewards practice and delivers results without unnecessary complication. Whether you're setting up your first center-fire hunting rifle or adding a versatile .30-06 to a battery, the Remington 700 CDL delivers honest performance at a reasonable investment.
