The Remington 700 BDL .270 Winchester bolt-action rifle is a proven workhorse for hunters who demand reliability and accuracy in the field. Built on the legendary 700 platform, this rifle pairs a 22-inch barrel with the popular .270 Winchester cartridge—a cartridge that has earned its reputation for clean, ethical harvests on medium to large game across North America. The polished blue finish and American walnut stock give it a classic, professional appearance that never goes out of style, whether you're glassing meadows in elk country or sitting in a blind waiting for whitetail.

The 700 BDL action is tight, smooth, and accurate right out of the box. A 1:10 right-hand twist stabilizes .270 ammunition reliably, and the four-round magazine capacity keeps your follow-up shots ready without unnecessary bulk. At just over 41 inches long with a standard 13 3/8-inch length of pull, this rifle shoulders naturally for most adult shooters and balances well enough for all-day hunts. The carbon-steel barrel is no-frills steel, proven to handle whatever weather and terrain you throw at it.

This is a hunter's rifle—not a target gun or a tack-driver, but a dependable tool that has sent millions of rounds downrange and put food on tables for generations. If you're looking for a .270 Winchester bolt-action rifle with genuine history, known ergonomics, and the kind of simplicity that works when it matters, the Remington 700 BDL deserves a place on your shortlist.
