The Remington 700 .308 Win bolt-action rifle is the backbone of American hunting and precision shooting—and for good reason. This Model R27136 delivers the proven reliability and accuracy that has made the 700 platform the most popular centerfire rifle platform in North America for decades. Built on a true and tested action, paired with a 24-inch stainless steel barrel and a matte silver finish, this rifle handles everything from whitetail hunts to long-range target work without apology. Whether you're glassing a valley for elk, zeroing at the range, or preparing for seasons to come, the 700 gives you a dependable foundation that lets you focus on the shot.

The .308 Winchester is the thinking shooter's caliber—affordable, universally available, ballistically capable, and mild-mannered enough for extended practice. You'll find ammunition in any sporting goods store, at any range, nearly anywhere in the world. The 4-round magazine keeps things lean and legal in most hunting jurisdictions, while the 24-inch barrel strikes a practical balance between velocity and manageability in the field. At 43 5/8 inches overall and 13 3/8 inches length of pull, this rifle feels at home whether you're a compact hunter or running a longer stock setup with a good cheek weld.

Remington's 416 stainless steel barrel is built to shoot straight and hold zero through seasons of hunting and range time. The matte finish resists glare and plays well with optics and iron sights alike. The ergonomics are classic 700: smooth, intuitive bolt throw, clean trigger, and a receiver ready for aftermarket stocks, chassis, or optic mounts. This is a rifle platform measured in decades of proven field performance, not marketing hype.
