The Remington 700 .270 Winchester bolt-action rifle is a time-tested workhorse built for hunters who value reliability and accuracy in the field. This Model R27361 pairs Remington's legendary 700 action with a 24-inch blue barrel chambered in .270 Winchester—a caliber prized for its flat trajectory, manageable recoil, and effectiveness on medium to large game. Whether you're glassing ridges for mule deer, hunting elk at elevation, or taking long-range shots at antelope, the 700 .270 delivers the precision and power serious hunters expect.

Built on a traditional bolt-action platform with a 4-round capacity, this rifle strips away unnecessary complexity in favor of simplicity and dependability. The matte black synthetic stock resists weather and abuse better than wood, keeping maintenance minimal during hard use in the field. A 1:10 twist rate stabilizes .270 Winchester projectiles across the full spectrum of bullet weights, giving you flexibility in ammunition selection without sacrificing accuracy. At 7.375 pounds and 44.5 inches overall length, it balances portability with the sight radius and handling needed for precision shooting.

This is a no-frills, no-compromise rifle for hunters who've done their homework. If you're building a serious hunting rig and want a proven receiver and barrel you can stake your season on, the Remington 700 in .270 Winchester is a foundation that'll outlast trends and ammunition cycles. Pair it with quality glass and a solid scope mount, and you've got a rifle that'll handle anything from spring turkey season to late-season elk.
