With its 4-round capacity and black finish, this 20 gauge delivers the versatility of a lighter-recoiling platform while maintaining the stopping power hunters expect. Whether you're working brush for upland birds, running clays at the range, or introducing a new shooter to shotgun fundamentals, the 400 Leg handles the job with the straightforward reliability Mossberg is known for.
At its core, this 20 gauge shotgun is designed around practicality—easy to carry, quick to point, and built to last. The black synthetic or furniture keeps maintenance simple and won't show wear the way wood does in the field. The 4-round magazine gives you enough capacity for most hunting and sport shooting scenarios without making the gun feel nose-heavy or awkward to mount.
