The Heritage Rough Rider .22LR revolver with 16" barrel and buckhorn sights is a single-action rimfire that brings classic revolver handling to affordable target shooting and small-game hunting. Built on the time-tested Single Action Army platform, this blue-finished steel revolver chambers .22 Long Rifle and holds six rounds. The 16-inch barrel gives you sight radius and velocity that typical compact rimfires can't match, making it a natural choice for shooters who want to stretch their .22 skills beyond backyard distances. Whether you're zeroing fundamentals, introducing a younger shooter to revolvers, or taking small varmints at distance, the Rough Rider's traditional profile and ergonomics make it intuitive to learn and genuinely fun to shoot.

The buckhorn sights offer a classic sight picture and enough adjustability to dial in your load at realistic ranges. The laminate wood-style grips fit the Western aesthetic and hold up better than cheap synthetics. At 33.4 ounces, it's light enough to carry all day but heavy enough to manage recoil and sight return. The rifled steel barrel—6 grooves, 1:14 twist—is built to handle the abuse of regular shooting without premature wear.

This is American-made heritage, not a mass-produced import. The Rough Rider has earned its reputation among rimfire enthusiasts for reliability and value. If you want a revolver that teaches trigger control, sight alignment, and single-action discipline without breaking the bank, the Rough Rider deserves a look.
