The Henry H015-357 single shot rifle delivers rugged simplicity for hunters and shooters who value reliability over capacity. This break-open .357 Magnum/.38 Special rifle combines the versatility of dual-caliber capability with Henry's reputation for quality American-made firearms. Whether you're working varmints at distance, hunting medium game, or spending time at the range, the straightforward single-shot action means every round counts—no compromise, no complications.

Built around a time-tested break-open design, the H015-357 loads and ejects with mechanical efficiency. The 22-inch blued steel barrel wears a 1:16 twist rate optimized for .357 Magnum and .38 Special performance. The American walnut furniture gives the rifle classic lines without frills, while the black rubber recoil pad absorbs kick on both calibers. At 7.18 lbs and 37.5 inches overall, it handles like a traditional rifle should—balanced, pointable, and maneuverable in brush or from a stand.

The receiver is drilled and tapped for Weaver 82 scope mounts, letting you mount optics for extended-range work or low-light hunting without permanent modification. Iron sights—a fully adjustable folding leaf rear and brass bead front—provide a quick, reliable aiming reference right out of the box. The rebounding hammer design enhances safety during handling and storage. Swivel studs accept your choice of slings, and the 14-inch length of pull accommodates most adult shooters comfortably.

This is a rifle that respects the one-shot-one-kill mentality. Henry builds it to last, and it's priced for shooters who'd rather own one excellent rifle than settle for something marginal.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I shoot .38 Special ammo in this .357 Magnum rifle?

Yes. The H015-357 is chambered for both .357 Magnum and .38 Special, so you can safely fire either cartridge through the same barrel. This dual-caliber capability gives you flexibility for target shooting, hunting, or practice without switching rifles.

Is this rifle good for hunting?

The Henry H015-357 is well-suited for hunting and target work, especially if you value accuracy over volume. The single-shot break-open action emphasizes precision and follow-through, and the .357 Magnum delivers adequate energy for medium-game hunting and varmint control at reasonable distances.

Does this rifle come with a scope or scope mount?

The receiver is drilled and tapped for Weaver 82 scope mounts, meaning you can install an optic of your choice. The rifle ships with iron sights (adjustable folding rear and brass bead front) but does not include a scope in the box.

What's the length of pull, and will it fit me?

The length of pull is 14 inches, which accommodates most adult shooters comfortably. If you need a longer or shorter length of pull, you may need to consult a gunsmith about stock modifications.
