The Henry H015-3030 single shot rifle in .30-30 Winchester is a break-open rifle built on proven American gunmaking tradition. This is a no-nonsense, straightforward hunting tool that strips away complexity without sacrificing performance. The break-open action is reliable, easy to load and unload, and requires zero training—you crack it open, drop in a .30-30 round, close it, and shoot. For hunters who value simplicity, reliability, and a rifle that won't quit, this Henry delivers on all three fronts.
The .30-30 Winchester has been dropping large game across North America for over a century. In this single-shot configuration, you get a rifle that forces deliberate, accurate shooting—no mag dump needed when one well-placed shot does the job. The 22-inch blued steel barrel pairs with an American walnut stock to create a classic profile that's equally at home in a deer blind or at the range. At 6.69 pounds, it's light enough for all-day hunting without becoming a fatiguing packhorse. The brass bead front sight and fully adjustable folding rear sight keep you pointed true, and the rebounding hammer adds a safety margin you can trust.
Already thinking about optics? The rifle comes drilled and tapped for Weaver 82 scope bases, so mounting your choice of hunting glass or long-range optic is straightforward. Swivel studs are fitted for a sling, and the rubber recoil pad absorbs the .30-30's modest kick. The 14-inch length of pull fits most shooters comfortably, and the break-open action means you'll never fumble with safety levers or worry about selector switches. This is hunting rifle design refined to its essence.
