The Griffin Dual-Lok HRT 5.56 silencer is a precision-engineered suppressor designed for shooters who demand serious performance without compromise. Built from 17-4 stainless steel and 718 Inconel, this tactical suppressor handles full-auto fire and delivers repeatable sound reduction across a wide range of 5.56 platforms. The modular Dual-Lok mounting system is the real standout here—it's wear-free, requires no consumable parts, and locks up with zero POI shift across 120 discrete mounting positions, so your zero stays put shot after shot.

What sets the HRT apart is the engineering behind the scenes. The patent-pending ECO-FLOW baffle design cuts back-pressure without sacrificing suppression, while the patented flash-hiding end cap keeps signature low in low-light work. The included Minimalist Brake comes factory tuned for 5.56/.22 cal, and the ACME thread attachment means you can swap devices fast. Three anti-rotation teeth in the locking ring keep everything locked solid—no rattle, no creep. The high-temp Cerakote finish and nitrided collar handle sustained fire and harsh conditions, and the H900 heat-treated suppressor body is built to last.

At 14.4 ounces with the Minimalist Brake installed, the HRT adds 4.5 inches to your barrel. Weight and length scale with whatever muzzle device you run, so you can tailor the setup to your rifle. This is a suppressor for hunters, range shooters, and tactical professionals who value reliability and precision over hype.

Frequently Asked Questions

What thread pitch does the included brake use?

The Minimalist Brake that ships with the HRT has a 1/2x28 thread and is tuned for 5.56 NATO and .223 Remington. If your rifle uses a different thread pitch, you can swap in a compatible muzzle device—the Dual-Lok system handles that quickly.

How much does the suppressor add to barrel length?

With the included Minimalist Brake, the HRT adds 4.5 inches total. If you run a longer muzzle device, that overall length may change to 3.5 inches depending on the specific brake or accessory you use.

Is the Griffin HRT rated for full-auto fire?

Yes, the HRT is full-auto rated, making it suitable for both semi-auto and fully automatic 5.56 platforms.

What makes the Dual-Lok mounting system different?

The Dual-Lok system is wear-free and requires no consumable parts like crushers or baffles that degrade over time. It locks into 120 discrete positions for a rock-solid fit, and the design ensures minimal POI shift. The three anti-rotation teeth keep it from loosening under recoil, and the ACME thread allows quick attachment and removal.
