The Rugged Suppressor Razor 5.56 is a dedicated rifle silencer built for shooters who demand reliable noise reduction without compromise. Engineered specifically for 5.56x45mm NATO and .223 Remington, this FDE-finished suppressor combines proven accuracy, low gas blowback, and durability in a package 12% lighter than Rugged's larger 7.62 model. Whether you're running a semi-auto carbine or full-auto platform, the Razor 5.56 delivers consistent performance with minimal recoil signature and flash—and it ships ready to mount with everything needed for immediate deployment.

At its core, the Razor 5.56 uses a dual taper locking system that guarantees repeatable zero shift when you attach or detach the suppressor. The front taper locks concentrically while shedding carbon buildup; the rear taper keeps everything locked under fire. Rugged machines the tube from 17-4 PH stainless steel and the baffles from cobalt, then coats it all in high-temperature Cerakote—materials and finish designed to run hard and fast without flinching. Belt-fed rated with no barrel length restrictions, the Razor 5.56 won't hold you back on the range, in the field, or on the line.

Gas blowback is a real problem in semi-auto and full-auto 5.56 platforms, and the Razor is purpose-built to reduce it. Less gas cycling back past the bolt carrier means less fatigue on your face, faster target reacquisition, and longer component life. Rugged vets thousands of rounds through their designs before release, so when you take a zero, you know it'll hold.

Frequently Asked Questions

What comes in the box with the Razor 5.56?

You get the suppressor itself, a 1/2x28 M2 brake, an enhanced 5.56 front cap, the operator's manual, mounting instructions, and Rugged stickers. It's a complete, ready-to-run package.

Does the Razor 5.56 work on both semi-auto and full-auto rifles?

Yes. The Razor 5.56 is engineered for both semi-auto and full-auto platforms and is belt-fed rated with no barrel length restrictions.

How does the dual taper locking system work?

The front taper provides a concentric lock-up and protects the threads from carbon buildup. The rear taper prevents the suppressor from loosening during firing. This design also ensures repeatable zero shift when you attach and detach the suppressor.

Can I change the end cap on the Razor 5.56?

Yes. The suppressor comes with interchangeable end caps, allowing you to tune performance to your specific setup and preference.
