The Colt 1911 Gold Cup Trophy in 9mm is a precision-built single-action pistol that bridges competition heritage with practical carry appeal. Built on the legendary 1911 platform, this model chambers the 9mm cartridge and holds 9+1 rounds, making it a versatile choice for shooters who want classic 1911 ergonomics without the recoil of larger calibers. The brushed stainless steel receiver and slide deliver a clean, professional appearance while resisting corrosion in field conditions.

This is a gun built for shooters who care about accuracy. The National Match barrel, tight tolerances, and Series 70 trigger group combine to deliver the kind of precision that matters whether you're running it at the range or trusting it for personal defense. The 5-inch barrel strikes a balance between sight radius and handling—long enough for sight acquisition and velocity, compact enough for practical carry. At 40 ounces, it's substantial enough to manage recoil and hold steady on target, but not so heavy that all-day carry becomes a chore.

The Gold Cup Trophy comes equipped with Novak red fiber optic front sights and adjustable Bomar-style rear sights, giving you the flexibility to dial in your zero or swap glass if you choose to mount an optic down the road. The G10 checkered grips in blue with scallop work provide positive purchase in all conditions, while the upswept beavertail grip safety and thumb safety deliver the kind of control and security that 1911 shooters expect. The integrated magwell eases reloads, and the 25 LPI checkering on the frontstrap and mainspring housing keeps the gun where you put it when things get serious.
