The Charter Arms Mag Pug is a compact .357 Magnum revolver built for shooters who need serious stopping power in a gun that actually fits in a holster. At 4.2 inches, the barrel gives you enough velocity to take full advantage of .357 Magnum loads while keeping the gun small enough for daily carry, truck duty, or backup use. The stainless steel construction resists corrosion in the field, and the five-round cylinder chambers both .357 Magnum and .38 Special—so you can load whatever round the situation calls for. The double-action/single-action trigger gives you flexibility: hammer-back single-action for precision shooting or straight double-action for rapid defense work.

Charter Arms built the Mag Pug to run, not impress. The adjustable sights let you dial in your load, and the rubber grip controls recoil without turning your hand into a bruise zone. Stainless steel means less maintenance in the field; you won't be babying this thing. It's a no-nonsense wheelgun for hunters who want a backup gun with real teeth, shooters who carry for protection, or anyone who respects the ballistics of the .357 Magnum cartridge.

If you want a revolver that doesn't make excuses, the Mag Pug delivers. It's purpose-built, proven, and ready to work.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I shoot .38 Special in this revolver?

Yes. The Mag Pug chambers both .357 Magnum and .38 Special, so you can load either cartridge depending on your needs, training, or preference.

Is this revolver suitable for concealed carry?

The 4.2-inch barrel and compact frame make the Mag Pug practical for holster carry, backup use, or truck duty. Whether it's right for you depends on your setup and comfort—we recommend handling it first.

What kind of sights come on the Mag Pug?

The revolver has adjustable sights, which means you can dial in your point of impact to match your load and shooting distance.

Why choose a revolver over a semi-automatic?

Revolvers are mechanically simple, reliable across a wide range of ammunition, and the .357 Magnum remains one of the most respected defensive and hunting cartridges available. The Mag Pug's stainless construction and rugged design make it a solid choice for field use and backup duty.
