The Browning Maxus II Ultimate is a 12-gauge autoloading shotgun built to handle everything from early-season waterfowl and upland birds to competitive sporting clays. This 3-inch magnum accepts shells up to 3.5 inches and pairs a gas-operating system with refined ergonomics that reward both hunters and clay shooters with reliable, low-recoil performance across a full day afield or on the range.

What sets the Maxus II Ultimate apart is its stunning AAAA-grade maple furniture—a gloss-finished stock with a close-radius grip that feels substantial in hand without being bulky. The nickel-plated receiver wears a satin finish and scroll engraving, making this gun as handsome as it is functional. A shim-adjustable stock lets you dial in length of pull, cast, and drop for a custom fit, while the Inflex II recoil pad absorbs felt recoil so you can stay behind the gun longer without punishment. Fiber-optic front sight and ivory mid-bead make target acquisition quick in low light.

Under the hood, the Power Drive gas system cycles cleanly whether you're running light target loads or heavy magnums. The Lightning Trigger breaks cleanly and consistently. Three Invector-Plus choke tubes (Full, Modified, Improved Cylinder) give you the flexibility to match your pattern to your distance and target. Back-bored barrels and a chrome-lined chamber and bore add durability and longevity. The magazine cut-off, TurnKey plug system, and Speed Load Plus loading gate make reloading and magazine management intuitive. An ABS hard case is included for transport and storage.

Whether you're serious about clays or serious about putting birds in the bag, the Maxus II Ultimate delivers the balance of beauty, reliability, and shootability hunters and competitors have come to expect from Browning's gas-gun lineup.
