The Browning Maxus II is a gas-operated semi-automatic shotgun built for hunters and sport shooters who demand reliability in the field. This 12-gauge model features a 26-inch barrel and 3½-inch chamber, making it a versatile choice for waterfowl, upland game, and clay shooting. Wrapped in full Realtree Max-7 camouflage, the Maxus II combines proven autoloading performance with genuine comfort features—a SoftFlex cheek pad softens recoil against your face, an Inflex pad absorbs impact at your shoulder, and oversized controls keep things accessible even with cold or gloved hands. The composite stock is shim-adjustable for cast and length of pull, so you can dial in the fit that works for your frame and shooting style. Whether you're hunting over water, pushing through brush, or running clays, this is a shotgun that handles the job without fuss.
Durability is built into every detail. The bolt, bolt slide, shell carrier, bolt release, and bolt handle all wear a nickel Teflon coating that resists corrosion and reduces friction for smooth cycling shot after shot. The chamber and bore are chrome-lined to handle the abuse of repeated firing and harsh hunting conditions. Rubber overmolding on the stock and forearm ensures a secure grip whether conditions are wet, muddy, or just plain cold. The lightweight magazine tube keeps overall weight down, and the ramped trigger guard makes loading intuitive and quick.
Out of the box, you get three extended Invector-Plus choke tubes—Full, Modified, and Improved Cylinder—so you can adapt to different game and ranges right away. A fiber-optic front sight and ivory mid-bead give you clean sight picture in changing light. The gun ships in an ABS hard case, ready to transport safely to the field or range.
