The Browning Maxus II is a gas-operated autoloading shotgun built for serious waterfowlers and upland hunters who demand reliability in tough conditions. This 12-gauge, 3-1/2-inch chamber model pairs a 28-inch barrel with a composite stock finished in Vintage Tan camouflage, making it equally at home in marsh grass or open fields. The receiver and barrel wear Cerakote Burnt Bronze—a durable, corrosion-resistant finish that stands up to salt spray and extended seasons. Whether you're working ducks in a blind or pushing through late-season pheasant cover, the Maxus II's gas-operated system cycles reliably across a range of loads, and the new oversize bolt release and bolt handle make operation smoother when you're wearing heavy gloves.
Comfort and control matter on long days afield. This shotgun features a new SoftFlex cheek pad and Inflex Recoil Pad to absorb punishment, while rubber overmolding on the stock and forearm keeps your grip solid in wet or cold weather. The composite stock is shim-adjustable for cast and length of pull, and can be trimmed to fit your frame. A ramped trigger guard eases loading during rapid fire, and the nickel Teflon coating on the bolt, bolt slide, shell carrier, and bolt release adds slickness and durability. Chrome chamber and bore round out the corrosion protection—important for anyone hunting near water or in humid climates.
Comes ready to hunt: three extended Invector-Plus Goose Band choke tubes (Full, Modified, Improved Cylinder) ship with the gun, giving you flexibility for different ranges and shot conditions. You'll also get a fiber-optic front sight and ivory mid-bead to help you track birds in low light. The ABS hard case keeps your Maxus II safe in transit or storage.
