The Browning Maxus II Stalker is a 12-gauge gas-operated autoloading shotgun built for hunters and sport shooters who demand reliability in tough conditions. This semi-automatic shotgun features a 26-inch barrel with interchangeable Invector-Plus choke tubes, a composite stock finished in matte black, and a suite of upgrades designed to tame recoil and improve handling in the field, marsh, or at the range.
Built on the foundation of Browning's original Maxus platform, the Maxus II Stalker refines what was already proven reliable with a Power Drive Gas System engineered to cycle cleanly across a wide spectrum of ammunition—from light target loads to 3½-inch magnum goose rounds. The gas-operated action naturally cycles faster than long-recoil systems while keeping the gun balanced and pointable. You get Browning's Lightning Trigger, recognized for its quick lock time, paired with an oversized bolt release and bolt handle that work smoothly even with gloved hands in cold weather.
Comfort matters when you're shooting full days or pushing through dense cover. The new SoftFlex cheek pad and thickened Inflex Recoil Pad work together to soften felt recoil and reduce fatigue. Overmolded rubber panels on the stock and forearm give you positive grip in wet or muddy conditions. The composite stock is shim-adjustable for cast and drop, and can be trimmed up to ¾ inch to fine-tune length of pull for different shooters. Nickel-Teflon coating on the bolt, bolt slide, shell carrier, and firing components resists corrosion and reduces friction. The chrome chamber and bore add durability. A ramped trigger guard speeds reloading under pressure. HiViz Tri-Comp fiber-optic front sight and ivory mid-bead help you track your target in variable light.
The Maxus II Stalker ships with three Invector-Plus choke tubes (Full, Modified, Improved Cylinder), a screw-on magazine cap, and an ABS hard case—everything you need to get to the field or range right away.
