The Browning Citori 725 Sporting 28-gauge is a refined over-under shotgun built for shooters serious about sporting clays. The 28-gauge in this configuration delivers the precision and balance competitive clay shooters demand, without the recoil of larger gauges. With its low-profile receiver and carefully engineered weight distribution, the Citori 725 sits naturally in your hands—a critical advantage when you're working through a course of fire where consistency and confidence matter. This is a shotgun that rewards good technique and builds your scores over a season.

Browning engineered the Citori 725 around durability and reliability. The tapered locking bolt maintains receiver lockup as the gun ages, while the transverse full-width hinge pin maximizes strength throughout the gun's life. Chrome-lined chambers protect against corrosion and steel shot, keeping your investment sound whether you're shooting lead or steel in practice or competition. The Fire Lite mechanical trigger delivers a crisp, predictable break—something you'll appreciate when the targets are tight and your concentration is tighter.

The 28-gauge comes fitted with the standard Invector choke tube system, allowing you to dial in your pattern for different distances and presentations. The 30-inch barrels provide the sight picture and swing weight competitive shooters prefer, while the low-post floating rib and HiViz Pro Comp sight system keep your eye on the bird. Grade III/IV walnut with oil finish and gold-enhanced engraving give the 725 a working-gun aesthetic—no unnecessary flash, just a clean, purposeful appearance that's earned its place in the shotgun sports.
