The Browning A5 Hunter is a reliable semi-automatic 12-gauge shotgun built for the classic waterfowl and upland game hunter who values proven design and smooth performance in the field. With its 28-inch barrel, this gun swings naturally on fast-moving targets while the crisp fiber optic front sight gives you a clear sight picture in low light conditions—morning duck blinds and late-season dove shoots included. The gloss Turkish walnut furniture and high-gloss steel receiver deliver that traditional shotgun look without sacrificing modern reliability.
The A5 Hunter handles 3-inch shells from a 4-round capacity, making it versatile enough for waterfowl, upland birds, and clay sports. The Invector-Plus flush choke system ships with three tubes—Full, Modified, and Improved Cylinder—so you can dial in your pattern for different distances and quarry without buying extras. At 6 pounds 13 ounces and 49.625 inches overall with a 14.25-inch length of pull, it balances point-ability with controlability, whether you're hunting over decoys or working through thick brush.
If you're drawn to shotguns that don't need a user manual to figure out, the A5 Hunter delivers time-tested semi-auto reliability in a classic profile. It's the kind of gun that shoots as good as it looks and gets better with use.
