The Browning 1911-380 is a compact, single-action autoloader built on proven 1911 design principles but scaled for the practical shooter who values controllability and everyday carry. This .380 ACP pistol merges the ergonomics and reliability of America's most iconic platform with modern materials and features—a smart choice for anyone seeking a lightweight 1911 without the recoil and bulk of larger calibers.

Built around a composite frame with a machined 7075 aluminum sub-frame and slide rails, the Browning 1911-380 delivers rigidity where it matters while keeping overall weight manageable. The slide is forged blackened stainless steel with polished flats for visual appeal and matte black on the curves for a professional, field-ready finish. A tilting barrel locked-breech action ensures reliable feeding and extraction, while the single-action trigger provides the crisp, predictable break that 1911 users expect. The Picatinny rail on the dust cover gives you options to mount a laser or compact light if your carry or defensive setup calls for one.

Ergonomics are right out of the 1911 playbook: extended ambidextrous manual safety, extended slide release, beavertail grip safety, and a Commander-style hammer. Rosewood-colored laminate grips with intricate checkering and a gold Buckmark inlay add visual character while keeping your hands planted. The corrosion-resistant barrel features a target crown, and the pistol comes with two magazines and an ABS carry case—everything you need to get to the range or into carry immediately.

Available with either three-dot combat sights or steel bar-dot combat night sights, depending on your preference for low-light shooting. Whether you're a 1911 purist exploring a smaller-frame option or a shooter looking for a genuinely manageable defensive pistol, the Browning 1911-380 delivers the safety, handling, and reliability the platform is known for.
