The Bergara B-14 HMR 308 Win bolt-action rifle brings Spanish gunsmithing tradition to American hunters who refuse to compromise on accuracy or build quality. This 20" 5R barrel rifle is purpose-built for precision shooting—whether you're dialing in at the range or hunting medium to long range—and it delivers the kind of inherent accuracy that makes hand-loading and load development feel worthwhile instead of frustrating.
What sets the B-14 HMR apart is the engineering underneath: a mini-chassis integrated into the stock provides repeatable bedding and a fully free-floated barrel for shot-to-shot consistency. The action itself is Bergara's two-lug system with a sliding-plate extractor and coned bolt nose and breech—smooth, reliable, and built to handle magnum velocities without flinching. The curved trigger breaks cleanly at roughly three pounds, and the rifle arrives factory-drilled and tapped for standard Remington 700 rings and bases, so scope mounting is straightforward.
The barrel is Bergara's own No. 6 precision tube in 308 Winchester, finished in Graphite Black Cerakote and threaded 5/8-24 for suppressors or muzzle devices (thread protector included). At 20 inches, it strikes a practical balance between velocity and portability—ideal if you're glassing from a ridge or moving through heavy country. The stock includes an adjustable cheekpiece and length-of-pull spacers, so you can dial in your natural sight picture without aftermarket fiddling. AICS-style detachable magazine, 5-round capacity standard, with quick-detach sling cups molded into the foregrip and rear stock.
Built at Bergara's own factory in Spain using fully automated precision tooling, this rifle punches above its weight class. You're getting custom-rifle quality in a production gun that feels more like a hand-built precision tool than a mass-assembly compromise.
