The Auto Ordnance Thompson TM1C is a semi-automatic rifle chambered in .45 ACP that brings authentic Thompson submachine gun heritage to the civilian market. If you're drawn to military history, iconic American firearms, or just want a uniquely capable .45 ACP platform with genuine character, this is a rifle that delivers on both looks and function. Built on the legend of the original Thompson M1—a firearm that earned its reputation across battlefields worldwide—the TM1C honors that legacy with solid steel and aluminum construction paired with genuine American walnut furniture.

What sets this rifle apart is its commitment to authenticity. The side bolt action, milled frame and receiver, and period-correct profile aren't cosmetic details—they're part of what makes the Thompson instantly recognizable and genuinely fun to shoot. The fixed walnut stock and grip feel substantial and time-tested, while the blade front sight and fixed rear sight keep things simple and reliable. At 8 pounds with a 16.5-inch barrel and 38 inches overall, the TM1C strikes a practical balance between shootability and portability, whether you're at the range, hunting, or just appreciating a piece of firearms history.

The .45 ACP cartridge remains one of the most respected handgun calibers in existence, and in rifle form it delivers low recoil and strong terminal characteristics. A 30-round magazine capacity gives you plenty of rounds downrange before reloading. The blued or black-anodized finish protects the metal while maintaining that classic military aesthetic. This is a rifle for shooters who value heritage, reliability, and the satisfaction of owning a firearm with real historical pedigree—not just another modern polymer tactical platform.
