The Auto Ordnance Thompson M1 .45 ACP rifle brings legendary firepower and character to the modern shooter. This semi-automatic rifle honors the heritage of one of history's most iconic firearms while delivering substantial stopping power and that distinctive, unmistakable Thompson profile. With a 16.5" barrel and walnut furniture, it's built for shooters who appreciate the marriage of historical significance and honest, powerful performance. Whether you're interested in classic military aesthetics, pistol-caliber rifle shooting, or simply owning a piece of firearms history, the Thompson M1 stands out on the range and in the safe.

Chambered in .45 ACP, this rifle feeds from 30-round magazines and operates entirely via semi-automatic action—legal and reliable for civilian use. The walnut stock and grip deliver traditional handling and a warm, classic feel that sets it apart from polymer-heavy modern designs. The blade front sight pairs with an adjustable rear, giving you a straightforward sight picture right out of the box. At 11.5 pounds, it carries enough heft to manage the .45 ACP's recoil while remaining reasonably portable for a rifle-length gun. The 38" overall length keeps it maneuverable in and around vehicles or hunting camps without sacrificing sight radius and ergonomics.

Auto Ordnance supplies these rifles as new in-box stock; occasionally, minor cosmetic finish marks may appear from the manufacturing process—the kind of detail that doesn't affect function and often disappears under normal handling and use. If you're drawn to the Thompson's historical lines, the proven .45 ACP cartridge, or simply want a rifle that commands attention and conversation, the M1 delivers authenticity without compromise.
