The Auto Ordnance 1927-A1 Deluxe .45 ACP rifle is a semi-automatic take on a historical design, delivering that classic Thompson submachine gun silhouette in a modern sporting rifle format. Chambered in .45 ACP, this rifle appeals to shooters who want authentic period aesthetics combined with straightforward semi-auto reliability—whether you're plinking at the range, collecting, or just enjoying a piece of firearms history that actually works. The 14.5" Cutts compensator muzzle device is a signature feature, managing recoil and adding that distinctive look purists expect.

Built around a walnut fixed stock and vertical foregrip, the 1927-A1 Deluxe handles like a rifle that knows its heritage. The finned 16.5" barrel (measured with the compensator attached) contributes to the gun's 12.5-pound heft—substantial enough to settle down when shooting, yet manageable for reasonable shooting sessions. Open sights—a blade front and adjustable rear—keep things simple and usable, without requiring optics to get the gun into action. The supplied 20-round stick magazine gives you decent capacity for a .45 ACP semi-auto, and the single mag gets you going right out of the box.

This isn't a modern tactical platform; it's a rifle that appeals to shooters who appreciate design lineage and practical .45 ACP performance in a package that turns heads at the range. If you're drawn to classic military-inspired rifles or just want a smooth-shooting .45 semi-auto with character, the 1927-A1 Deluxe rewards both careful marksmanship and fun plinking.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Auto Ordnance 1927-A1 semi-automatic or fully automatic?

The 1927-A1 Deluxe is a semi-automatic rifle. One trigger press = one round downrange. It's a modern sporting rifle designed around classic Thompson lines, not a machine gun.

What's included in the box?

You get the rifle and one 20-round stick magazine. Additional mags and accessories are sold separately.

Can I remove or replace the Cutts compensator?

The specs show the Cutts compensator is integral to the 14.5" barrel configuration, making it a distinctive feature of this Deluxe model. If you have questions about compatibility or modifications, contact our team directly.

Is the 1927-A1 good for hunting or just range shooting?

The .45 ACP chambering and design make this rifle best suited to range shooting, plinking, and collecting rather than hunting. The round's ballistics and sight radius are optimized for closer-range precision and historical authenticity.
