The Auto-Ordnance 1927A-1 Deluxe .45 ACP carbine is a semi-automatic rifle that brings Thompson submachine gun aesthetics and handling to a modern sporting platform. With its 16.5-inch finned barrel, walnut furniture, and open adjustable sights, this .45 ACP carbine delivers classic appeal paired with practical functionality. Whether you're a vintage firearms enthusiast, a collector, or someone who appreciates the iconic profile of a Tommy gun–style platform, the 1927A-1 Deluxe offers character that modern tactical rifles simply don't match. The detachable stock design adds modern convenience without sacrificing the gun's heritage look.

This rifle ships with both a 20-round stick magazine and a 50-round drum magazine, giving you flexibility in how you load and shoot. The blued steel receiver and barrel develop a rich patina over time, while the hand-finished walnut stock, grip, and forend feel solid and age well. At 13 pounds and 41 inches in overall length, it's substantial enough to shoot smoothly but manageable for extended range sessions or sport shooting. The open sights are adjustable, letting you dial in your zero without expensive optics if you prefer iron-sight shooting.

.45 ACP carbines occupy a niche in the shooting world—they're mild recoilers with enough thump for defensive confidence, yet stay subsonic naturally, making them popular for suppressed shooting when applicable. If you've always wanted to shoot something that looks like it stepped out of a 1920s gangster film, but with modern safety and semi-auto reliability, the 1927A-1 Deluxe is the real deal.
