The Zastava ZPAP85 10" 5.56x45 AK Pistol is a short-barreled semi-automatic rifle platform built on proven Kalashnikov operating principles. If you're looking for a compact, maneuverable 5.56 NATO pistol with AK-pattern reliability and ergonomics, this Zastava delivers genuine Eastern Bloc craftsmanship in a package that works as a truck gun, range toy, or home-defense option for shooters who prefer the AK manual of arms.
Built with the durability you'd expect from Zastava Arms—a chrome-lined 10" cold hammer-forged barrel, bulged trunnion, and a 1.5mm stamped steel receiver—the ZPAP85 pairs traditional AK robustness with 5.56x45mm efficiency. The corrosion-resistant hard nickel-molly bolt carrier keeps round counts high and maintenance simple. At 19.3" overall length and 6.6 lbs, it's handy enough for tight spaces but substantial enough to shoot accurately. The 30+1 round capacity gives you serious magazine-fed firepower in a pistol format.
The manual of arms stays true to AK tradition: Krinkov-style rear post and front sights, a hinged top cover for charging and optic mounting, and a safety selector with an integrated bolt hold-open notch. The synthetic grip and wood handguard are functional and period-appropriate. Stripped of the tacticool nonsense, this is a straightforward, reliable AK pistol for shooters who understand and respect the platform.
