The Winchester XPR Left-Hand in .223 Rem is a rugged, precision bolt-action rifle purpose-built for left-handed shooters who demand accuracy and reliability without breaking the bank. Combining proven Winchester engineering with efficient modern manufacturing, the XPR delivers the performance you'd expect from a Model 70 at a price that makes sense for hunters, target shooters, and sport rifle enthusiasts. Whether you're working varmint control, precision range work, or hunting small game, this left-hand rifle gives you the tools to shoot straight and shoot consistently.
The foundation of any accurate rifle is its barrel, and Winchester starts here with solid chromoly steel bar stock, precisely button-rifled to produce tight shot groups and a burnished interior that runs smooth. That smooth finish does double duty—it increases velocity and reduces bullet jacket fouling, keeping performance predictable shot after shot. The barrel is fully free-floated inside the stock, so it vibrates naturally without pressure points that can shift zero or degrade precision when temperatures or humidity change in the field. Every XPR barrel is thermally stress-relieved to ensure it stays straight and true.
Behind that barrel sits the M.O.A. Trigger System, a three-lever precision trigger borrowed from Winchester's top-tier Model 70. It's adjustable for pull weight and delivers zero creep, zero tack-up, and zero overtravel—the hallmarks of a trigger you can trust at distance or on game. The rifle's steel receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounts, so you can glass up and get to work. The composite stock handles wet conditions without slipping and shrugs off the bumps and scratches that come with serious field use. A detachable box magazine lets you keep spare rounds ready in a secondary mag instead of loose in your pocket, and the two-position thumb safety keeps things secure until you need them fast.
Built for left-handed shooters with an oversized bolt handle, nickel-Teflon-coated bolt body, and a matte blued finish that won't catch light or reflection, the XPR LH is as ready for a day at the range as it is for a hunt in unforgiving terrain.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Winchester XPR available in left-hand configuration?
Yes. The XPR LH is specifically designed for left-handed shooters, with a left-hand action, oversize bolt handle, and two-position thumb safety all positioned for southpaw operation.
What makes the barrel accurate?
The XPR barrel starts as solid chromoly steel and is precisely button-rifled, which burnishes the interior surface to a smooth finish. This reduces bullet jacket fouling and increases velocity. The barrel is fully free-floated inside the stock—meaning it doesn't contact the wood or composite—so it vibrates naturally without pressure points that could affect zero. Every barrel is thermally stress-relieved to ensure it remains straight and true over time and temperature changes.
Does the XPR come drilled and tapped for a scope?
Yes, the receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounts, so you can mount rings and bases directly without additional gunsmithing.
What's included with this rifle?
The Winchester XPR LH comes with the rifle, detachable box magazine, sling swivel studs, and Inflex Technology recoil pad installed on the composite stock. A scope and mount are not included.
