The Winchester XPR SR is a no-nonsense .223 Remington bolt-action rifle built for shooters who want a suppressor-ready platform without the premium price tag. This 20-inch barreled rifle ships suppressor-threaded (5/8 x 24) straight from the factory, so you can mount your can and run it without additional gunsmithing. It's a genuine option for hunters working in noise-sensitive areas, competition shooters running suppressed match setups, or anyone who wants the option built in from day one.
Winchester engineered the XPR line around practical accuracy and reliability. The free-floating barrel and button rifling keep shot groups honest, while the recessed target crown protects the muzzle threads. The action itself is built on a M.O.A. trigger system—crisp and predictable without being match-grade finicky—paired with a two-position thumb safety and bolt unlock button for familiar rifle handling. The matte blue finish on both barrel and receiver resists glare and shows wear in a way that looks lived-in, not mall-ninja.
The black composite stock keeps weight down and doesn't care about weather; the Inflex Technology recoil pad actually absorbs impact instead of just slapping back. Detachable box magazine means faster reloads in the field. A sling swivel stud comes installed. The whole package is drilled and tapped for standard scope mounts—you'll need to bring your own glass, but this rifle will accept whatever optic makes sense for your mission.
This is a working rifle. Not flashy, not gold-plated, just competent—the kind of gun that gets grabbed because it does the job and doesn't ask for much in return.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I shoot this rifle suppressed?
Yes. The XPR SR comes threaded 5/8 x 24, which is the most common suppressor thread pitch for .223 rifles. Just mount a suppressor or muzzle brake and you're ready to run.
What scope mount pattern does this rifle use?
The receiver is drilled and tapped for standard scope mounts. You'll need to install rings and a base compatible with your choice of optic—Weaver, Picatinny, or other common systems will work depending on which base you use.
Is the scope included?
No. The rifle is sold without optics. Budget for a quality scope and mount matched to your shooting discipline—hunting, competition, or range work.
What ammunition does the .223 chamber shoot?
The .223 Remington is the standard cartridge for AR-platform rifles, varmint hunters, and precision shooters. It's widely available, economical for practice, and effective for small game and varmints. Standard .223 Remington ammunition will function in this rifle.
