The Winchester Wildcat is a straightforward, modular .22 LR rifle built for shooters who want simplicity, adaptability, and genuine field utility. This semi-automatic .22 is built around a polymer receiver with an integral Picatinny rail on top—plenty of real estate for optics, lights, or other accessories—and a removable lower receiver that comes apart with a single button push for quick cleaning and maintenance. At 18 inches, the barrel is handy for hunting, plinking, training, or casual range work, and Winchester's precision button-rifled barrel with a recessed target crown delivers consistent accuracy. The real modularity shines in the details: the barrel is threaded 1/2x28 for suppressors, and the stock wears a Picatinny rail underneath the forearm so you can add a bipod or light without fussing with proprietary mounts.
The Wildcat comes dressed in TrueTimber Strata camouflage and carries field-proven controls: ambidextrous safety, slide lock, and bolt release buttons are all within easy reach, and the mag release is reversible for lefties. You get ghost ring and ramped post iron sights right out of the box—old-school, reliable, and zeroed at the factory. The rifle ships with one 10-round rotary magazine (the 10th round engages a bolt-stop system to lock the slide back on the last shot), and it will feed aftermarket 10/22-pattern magazines if you want to expand your magazine collection.
If you're building a .22 trainer, want a quiet suppressed plinker, or need a compact hunting rifle for small game and varmints, the Wildcat's straightforward design, modular Picatinny top rail, easy-strip lower receiver, and suppressor-ready barrel threading give you a solid foundation without unnecessary complexity. This is not a heirloom rifle—it's a practical, work-friendly .22 that won't break the bank or your patience.
