The Winchester SXP High Grade Field is a pump-action shotgun built for hunters who demand reliability without sacrificing style. This 12-gauge workhorse pairs a time-tested action with Turkish walnut furniture and a traditionally engraved receiver—the kind of gun that looks as good in the truck as it performs in the field. Whether you're after upland birds or waterfowl, the SXP's proven design and quality construction make it a trusted choice for American hunters.
Winchester engineered the SXP to handle the rigors of real hunting. The aluminum alloy receiver wears a gloss blue finish that's both protective and classic, while the chrome-plated chamber and bore resist corrosion through wet seasons. A ventilated rib helps manage heat and improves sight picture, and the 3-inch chamber gives you flexibility in shot selection. The High Grade Turkish walnut stock, finished in satin varnish, provides a comfortable grip and natural aesthetics that improve with age and use.
Practical features round out the package: three Invector-Plus choke tubes let you adjust patterns on the fly, a TRUGLO fiber-optic front sight cuts through cover and low light, and Winchester's Inflex Technology recoil pad absorbs punishment without the plastic feel of cheap dampers. A large trigger guard opening accommodates gloved hands, and the reversible safety button works for both right- and left-handed shooters. At 26 inches, the barrel is nimble enough for timber or brush without sacrificing range.

Frequently Asked Questions
What shotgun is good for upland hunting and waterfowl?
The Winchester SXP High Grade Field works well for both. The 12-gauge 3-inch chamber handles a wide range of loads, and the included choke tubes let you adjust your pattern for different birds and distances. The 26-inch barrel is nimble in brush but long enough for open-country hunting.
What choke tubes come with the Winchester SXP?
Three Invector-Plus choke tubes are included, allowing you to customize your shot pattern for different hunting scenarios.
Does the safety work for left-handed shooters?
Yes. The Winchester SXP features a reversible safety button so both left- and right-handed shooters can operate it comfortably without breaking their shooting grip.
Is the Winchester SXP durable in wet hunting conditions?
The SXP is built to handle the elements. The receiver is finished in gloss blue, and the barrel features a chrome-plated chamber and bore, which resist corrosion during wet seasons and frequent use.
