The Winchester Model 70 in .250 Remington with a 22-inch barrel is a hunting rifle built for hunters who demand reliable performance in tough field conditions. This Extreme model pairs Winchester's legendary Model 70 action—known for controlled round feed, a smooth bolt, and honest accuracy—with a modern synthetic platform designed to shed weather and abuse. The tungsten Cerakote finish on the receiver and barrel resists corrosion and gives the rifle a purposeful, no-nonsense appearance that matches its capable mechanics.

The Bell and Carlson synthetic stock wears a TrueTimber VSX finish that blends into hunting environments while providing the stability and durability of fiberglass construction. A sculpted cheekpiece supports consistent scope mounting and shooting comfort, while sling swivel studs let you rig the rifle for actual hunting rather than bench sessions. The jeweled bolt body and knurled bolt handle are functional touches that make manipulation smooth and reliable when your hands are cold or gloved.

Winchester equipped this rifle with a muzzle brake, free-floating barrel, and a recessed target crown—all features that support repeatable accuracy without fuss. The three-position safety, hinged floorplate, and Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad round out a rifle that works as hard as you do. The .250 Remington is a capable mid-range cartridge for hunters who appreciate a classic, flat-shooting round backed by solid Winchester engineering.
