The Winchester Model 70 Extreme in .264 Winchester Magnum with a 26-inch barrel is a long-range hunter's rifle built for serious mountain and backcountry work. This is the modern iteration of Winchester's legendary controlled-feed platform, refined for shooters who demand a rifle that performs in harsh weather and demanding terrain. The .264 WM cartridge delivers flat trajectory and retained energy at distance—a proven choice for western big-game hunting where shots often stretch beyond typical ranges.

What sets this Model 70 Extreme apart is its no-nonsense approach to durability and aesthetics. The receiver and 26-inch barrel wear a tungsten Cerakote finish that handles the elements without flinching, while the Bell and Carlson synthetic stock with sculpted cheekpiece and TrueTimber VSX camo pattern keeps weight reasonable and grip secure in variable conditions. The free-floating barrel ensures consistent accuracy shot to shot, and the recessed target crown protects the muzzle from dings that can degrade precision. This is a rifle that looks purposeful because it is purposeful.

Winchester's signature pre-'64 controlled round feed with claw extractor provides reliable feeding and extraction under any circumstance—a feature that matters when you're committed to a hunt. The three-position safety is intuitive in the field, and the M.O.A. trigger breaks cleanly for accurate shot placement. A Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad manages the .264's kick, and sling swivel studs are ready for your preferred carry method. The jeweled bolt body and knurled bolt handle are details that reflect Winchester's commitment to the rifle's legacy and your confidence in its operation.
