The Weatherby Orion 410 gauge over/under shotgun brings classic English styling to a nimble, versatile platform suited to both upland bird hunting and clay target work. Built on a 28-inch barrel with double triggers, this .410 delivers the refined aesthetics of traditional side-by-side handling in a more modern over/under action—a smart choice for hunters and shooters who want elegant lines without sacrificing handling speed or sight picture.
The 410 Orion balances old-school charm with practical performance. Its straight English stock and splinter forend speak to shotgun heritage, while the matte blue receiver and barrels paired with oil-rubbed Grade A walnut furniture deliver a classic, subdued look that works equally well in a duck blind or on the clay course. The 28-inch barrels feature a swamp rib topped with a brass bead sight, offering the kind of smooth, predictable swing that matters when you're threading shots through brush or calling targets in the air.
Choke versatility comes from a set of interchangeable tubes: Improved Modified, Improved Cylinder, Modified, Full, and Skeet. That spread gives you real options for everything from close-range upland cover to mid-range waterfowl or competitive clays—you're not locked into one point of aim or pattern density. The double-trigger setup is housed in a long tang trigger guard, offering independent trigger control and a crisp, lightweight feel that rewards good shooting fundamentals.
If you're drawn to guns with character and balance, and you shoot a .410 because you love the challenge and the efficiency, the Weatherby Orion is worth your attention. It's a genuine hunting gun, not a novelty, and it shoots where it points.

Frequently Asked Questions
What chokes come with the Weatherby Orion 410?
The shotgun includes five interchangeable choke tubes: Improved Modified, Improved Cylinder, Modified, Full, and Skeet. This variety lets you dial in the right pattern for upland birds, waterfowl, or clay targets without buying additional tubes.
Is the Weatherby Orion 410 good for upland bird hunting?
Yes. The 28-inch barrels and choke flexibility suit upland hunting well, especially where lighter shot and tighter cover demand nimble gun handling. The double triggers and English stock geometry provide quick target acquisition and classic balance.
Can you shoot clay targets with this .410?
Absolutely. The 410 Orion is at home on the trap or skeet range. The swamp rib and brass bead give you a clear sight picture, and the included Skeet choke tube supports target work.
What does "double trigger" mean?
The Orion has two independent triggers—one for each barrel. You choose which barrel fires first by selecting your trigger, rather than relying on a mechanical selector. This gives you complete control over barrel sequence and is a hallmark of traditional shotgun design.
