The Weatherby Mark V Live Wild 6.5-300 Wby rifle is a magnum hunting rifle purpose-built for backcountry hunters who refuse to compromise on accuracy, reliability, or weight. Developed in partnership with renowned hunter Remi Warren, this special edition combines Weatherby's legendary Mark V action with a lightweight, purpose-driven feature set designed for serious mountain and wilderness hunting. At just 5.6 lbs, it delivers the power of a magnum cartridge without the burden of a heavy rifle on long treks into remote country.

The heart of the Live Wild is Weatherby's iconic Mark V action—engineered as one of the strongest in the industry and purpose-built to safely handle the 6.5-300 Wby Magnum and other hot magnum loads. The nine-lug bolt design, fully-enclosed bolt shroud, and three gas relief ports in the bolt provide both reliability and safety, while the 54-degree bolt throw (the shortest in the industry) ensures smooth, fast cycling when seconds count. Every component reflects Remi's fieldcraft: a spiral-fluted barrel topped with a recoil-reducing Accubrake ST and threaded 1/2"-28 for suppressor use, a deeply-fluted bolt that shaves weight without sacrificing strength, and an externally-adjustable TriggerTech trigger tuned between 2.5 and 5 lbs to suit your preference.

The polymer stock echoes the ergonomics and trim profile of Weatherby's Backcountry 2.0 family—flat-bottomed forend, ambidextrous palm swells, and aluminum pillar construction—finished with a hand-painted black and grey sponge pattern inspired by Warren's Live Wild brand. Carbon Grey Cerakote seals the barreled action and receiver; Graphite Black Cerakote finishes the bolt, bolt knob, and safety. The custom hinged floorplate is engraved with the Live Wild logo, a nod to the collaboration that made this rifle possible. For the long-range, backcountry hunter who respects the mountain and demands dependability, the Mark V Live Wild delivers.
